Crawley Wargames Club attends several major Wargaming Shows each year, where we present and run either a demonstration game or a participation game.
- February / Cavalier @ Angel Centre, Tonbridge, Kent.
- April / Salute @ EXCEL Centre, Royal Victoria Docks, London.
- June / Broadside @ Medway Park, Gillingham, Kent.
- September / Colours @ Newbury Racecourse, Newbury, Berkshire.
- October / SELWG @ Lee Valley Athletics Centre, North London (2024 SHOW CANCELLED).
- November / Warfare @ Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre, Hampshire.

Cavalier
Cavalier is a lively wargames show organised by the Tunbridge Wells Wargames Society. The event is currently held every February at the Angel Centre in Tonbridge, Kent.
The show is in two large halls with many demonstration and participation games, and around 35 traders in attendance. There is also a good Bring & Buy stand with many interesting, high quality pieces on offer.
Salute
Presented by the South London Warlords, this Wargames show takes place at the Excel Centre in London each April.
Salute is the largest independent one-day wargaming and games event in the UK. The show features many international and UK traders, a wide array of demonstration games and participation games, plus an extremely popular painting competition, too.
Broadside
This lively and interesting show is organised by the Milton Hundred Wargames Club. Their annual event takes place in June, currently at Medway Park, Mill Road, Gillingham, Kent.
Featuring many traders and club demonstration games, the Broadside Games Show is a fantastic day out for hobbyists and enthusiasts alike.
Colours
This lively and popular show is operated by the Newbury & Reading Wargames Society, held each year in September at Newbury Racecourse.
The event is spread over three whole floors, with demonstration games, participation games, a large Bring & Buy, plus a great many various traders are usually in attendance.
SELWG
This popular wargames show is organised in October each year by the South East London Wargames Group. The event is currently held at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre in North London.
There is normally a huge array of traders, a large Bring & Buy area, plus many demonstration and participation games set over two entire floors.
PLEASE NOTE – SELWG 2024 has been cancelled by the organisers. Planning has shifted to the 2025 event.
Warfare
This show is organised in November each year by the Wargames Association of Reading (WAR).
Warfare is an amalgam of four core components, namely Trade Stands, Tournaments, Demonstration & Participation Games and not forgetting one of the UKs biggest Bring & Buys.
This two-day gathering is a major competition-based event, but is also a well-placed show for Southern England and even Welsh gamers to attend. An up-and-coming venue we are very happy to support.
