Our latest venture into the Sands of the Sudan pitted the forces of the Madhi against the British relief force marching, at a camel’s pace, to the relief of a garrison of brave chaps under the command of Colonel Horn Pasha – a man who knows that a firm command of English and adherence to Queen’s Regulations will be a path towards Civilisation and Order.
